You’ll take a few minutes to learn about a current health topic from a healthcare professional\, then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and fun conversation. It’s a great way to get out\, get active\, and enjoy all the benefits that come from walking. Walk your own pace and distance. \nThe group meets the first Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. at Midland Greenway – 682 Grove Street\, Gainesville\, GA. DESCRIPTION:The Thrive & Connect Teen Summit is a one-day event designed to empower students through engaging workshops focused on mental health\, wellness\, leadership\, and real-world life skills. The course is along Phase II of the scenic Highlands to Islands Trail\, starting at Chicopee Baptist Church. Proceeds from the race benefit United Way’s One Hall: United Against Poverty Initiative. \nThis race is a great opportunity get some physical activity\, which in turn can improve your mood\, increase your energy\, and help you feel altogether better.
